As long as I live, I will never forget this project. I had just started the job and the engineering team was pushing an update in an advanced feature. I needed to make a training video to thoroughly explain the enhancement to an advanced feature before I even knew the basics about the software. The product is incredibly powerful, and this enhancement would be an enormous time saver, but the set up did take some work. During my interview I talked about micro-learning, and how I wanted all videos to be under three minutes. The end product was a 19-minute video that fit the client’s needs and was a great crash course in the product for me.
My next video was the exact opposite. I made a 60-second product overview that I’d wished I’d had to help me make the first one.
